Freezing and Rapid Cooling Cells - DEEP BLUE - CFI
DEEP BLUE are positive blast freezing and chilling cells. With 5, 10 or 15 levels, the DEEP BLUE are intended to receive trays or grids in 600x400mm or Gastronorm 1/1 format.
These stainless steel cells allow rapid cooling and freezing of products before storage.
The ventilation makes it possible to cool different types of food, bringing their temperature to +3° at the core for rapid cooling and up to -18° for freezing.

Cooling, freezing, preservation, storage: DEEP BLUE offers you a solution for each space and each need in order to make the most of your production, without compromising on quality and performance.
4 cycles with return to cold at the end of the cycle:
1. Rapid cooling cycle;
2. Freezing cycle;
3. “Extreme cold” cycle for common products;
4. "Soft" cycle for fragile products.
Great performance in an optimal space: DEEP BLUE cells allow a fast and optimal cooling thanks to ventilation that circulates the flow of cold air evenly in the cell, precise temperature control and easy cycle management via an intuitive and easy-to-use control.
The start of the chilling and freezing cycles is done by stopwatch (duration of cycle elapsed) or by inserting probe. Capable of freezing between 11 and 38kg of products per cycle, depending on the model, DEEP BLUE will meet your implementation and production needs. They give you the possibility of making the most of the capacity of your cell thanks to the slides allowing you to introduce the plates at different levels depending on the size of your products.
Cleanability: The upkeep of the bedroom interior is done with comfort and simplicity thanks to its rounded corners and removable fittings. The stainless steel wire slides are easily dismantled without tools and can be put in the dishwasher. The cleaning water is evacuated through a central drain.
Intuitive control & versatile: Easy to use and efficient, the control command gives you immediate visibility of your cycles and allows simple interaction with all the functions of DEEP BLUE.
Quality and sturdiness:
• One-piece structure and interior and exterior cladding in 304 stainless steel.
• Thickness 60mm on the sides, 45mm on the floor and ceiling.
• Corners rounded interiors for easy cleaning.
• Magnetic door seals.
• Interior fittings in 304 stainless steel wire, one-step disassembly.
• Reversible door on site.
• Pivot hinges maintained from 90° with door reminder when closing.
• Vertical evaporator fins: 5 mm pitch< /span>.
• Refrigerant fluid R452A.
• Protected battery by cataphoresis treatment.
• A door contact stops the ventilation each time it is opened.
• Air flow ensured by two fans helicoids which suck in the center of the cell and blow, on the right and on the left, on the vertical evaporator.
• 2 operating modes of the cycles: automatic by core probe or manual by timer with countdown
• Automatic defrosting every 6 hours, controlled by a an end-of-defrost sensor in the evaporator.
• Housed group.
DEEP BLUE is available in 5, 10 or 15 plates.
Capable of freezing between 11 and 38kg of products per cycle, depending on the model, the DEEP BLUE range will meet your implementation and production needs. They give you the possibility of making the most of the capacity of your cell thanks to the slides allowing you to introduce the trays at different levels depending on the size of your products.
All freezing and chilling cells from the DEEP BLUE range, offers 5 functions:
1. Pre-Cooling: Allows you to optimize the cell temperature before starting a cooling or freezing cycle, to obtain the best results with less consumption.
2. Rapid cooling: This cycle brings the core temperature to +3°C in a maximum of 90 minutes. At the end of the cooling cycle, the cell automatically switches to CONSERVATION.
3. "Extreme Cold" rapid cooling: This process is recommended for large pieces (thickness of more than 2-3cm) or when cooling dense or particularly greasy products. The air temperature reaches -20°C and allows cold to penetrate the products more quickly. At the end of the cooling cycle, the cell automatically switches to CONSERVATION.
4. Rapid freezing: During this cycle, the air reaches -40°C and in less than 4 hours brings the core temperature of the product to -18°C. At the end of the freezing cycle, the cell automatically switches to CONSERVATION.
5. Defrosting: The humidity in the air is the cause of the frost that settles on the evaporator: the defrosting function eliminates it to always guarantee the best performance and optimal efficiency of the machine. Defrosting can be automatic (every 6 hours) or manual.
